Business Manager – The one who budgets the organization’s money. . Article VI: Governing Structure A committee comprised of the organization’s officers, under the guidance of the advisor(s), will hold the responsibility of deciding the rules and regulation of the organization.
Section 2 The voting membership will elect each new member of the board by majority vote. Elections will be held at the start of each year to determine the officers for the entire school year. Section 3 Each officer will be held accountable to the purposes stated in the preamble. If an officer fails to perform his/her Job either by absence, attitude, or actions deemed inappropriate by the organization advisor or other officers, the board may, by a 3/4 sorority vote, relieve him/her from duties. In this event, a new officer shall be voted in by a majority vote of the board.
Section 4 Each officer will have one (1) vote in decision-making processes. In the event of a tie, the board can call for a revoke, or if the deadlock cannot be resolved, the advisor(s) can vote to break the tie. VII Meetings Meetings shall be held as planned by the board. The chapter shall hold meetings only in places that are open and accessible to all its members. Section 2 There shall be at least one meeting every month. Article VIII: Amendments Any additional amendment must be ratified by a simple majority of the voting membership.
Section 2 All proposed changes to these chapter & bylaws shall be approved by the ACTS Adviser. Article ‘X: Dissolution Dissolution of ACTS by consent of the members shall consist of unanimous agreement of all its officers together with a majority vote at a meeting which has been publicized in advance to all members of the organization for the purpose of taking this vote. Section 2 If this organization be dissolved, its assets and liabilities shall be transferred to USC ND shall be supervised by the USC Treasurer.
