Jay-Z Alicia Keys Empire State of Mind by Jay Z, Alicia Keys

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys have recently combined to write and perform a new song called “Empire State of Mind.” This song is on Jay-Z’s album “The Blueprint 3.” I like the song so much, that it is actually my Myspace Song. It was so well liked that they actually performed together, singing the song, at the VMA Awards. Also, the song was recently performed at game two of The World Series in New York, ironically. It tells about how you can tell that a person is from New York. It is well written by Jay-Z himself. I have always been a fan of Jay-Z’s music, but this song just did it all for me. I also like him because I have the initials J Z. He is my idol, and I look up to his music. He has inspired many people over the years, and still has plenty of his best years ahead of him.
