Another very popular genre is rap, which is popular among the youth of the nation. Besides rap, a very popular genre is country, which has an ever-growing fan base. Rock music has been around since 1950 and has been quite influential among the enervation of people who have listened to It all their lives.
One of the biggest pioneers of American classic rock Is Elvis Presley, Is known worldwide and is still listened to today. Presley created a catchy class of rock that almost every American from that era and the generations that followed enjoy. I am from Gloucester City, New Jersey. , people consider it the birthplace of rock and roll. Bill Haley and the Comets played six nights a week at what is now Jacks Twin Bar. Bill Haley and the Comets are considered the original rock and roll band as well as the band that paved the way for o many bands and solo artists to blossom and become a part of American culture.
